What is a hybrid golf club?
Hybrids, or rescue clubs, are still a relatively new technology on the golf course. They mix all the great features between a wood and an iron into one club. Long irons are more difficult to hit because they have smaller faces and a lower trajectory. Fairway woods require more room to swing because they have longer shafts. So when you are in the deep rough or underneath a tree, it may be difficult to really launch your ball out. Hybrids fix these problems because their shafts are shorter like a mid iron and their heads resemble a fairway wood, perfect for these situations.
